The Philosophy

This is not
tourism.

This is the Colombia that most people will never see — not because it's hidden, but because the travel industry isn't designed to show it to you.

We don't offer excursions. We offer encounters. With cacao and coffee farmers who speak the language of the land. With marimba masters who carry UNESCO heritage in their hands. With communities along the Pacific coast who have been living in profound relationship with nature for generations.

"You will leave different than you arrived — not because Colombia is exotic, but because it is deeply, quietly human."

And you will leave knowing your presence contributed — not extracted. 10% of every retreat goes directly to the communities we inhabit.

Maximum 10–15 travellers. Minimum impact. Maximum depth.

It simply wasn't shown."

What You Will Experience

Five moments
that will
stay with you.

🌿

Land Connection

Walk through mangroves, cacao farms, coffee farms and coastal ecosystems with native guides who know each plant, each tide, each bird by name.

🥁

Living Culture

Marimba evenings that are not shows — they are invitations. Salsa classes where the history of a people lives in every movement. Music that belongs to the land.

🍫☕

Ancestral Wisdom

A cacao tour from tree to bar, and a coffee farm experience from bean to cup — both narrated by farmers who carry the full ecological, cultural and ancestral story of what they grow.

🏘

Reciprocity

Cook alongside families. Sit in circles. Deliver the Impact Fund in person — face to face, inside the community — on Day 5.

🌅

Integration

Closing rituals. A post-trip kit. A list of organisations to keep supporting. A guide to buying Colombian goods ethically from home.

Cacao pods Colombia Cacao, from tree to bar
Coffee farm Colombia Coffee, from bean to cup
Colombian Pacific nature The Pacific, alive
Community Colombia Community, face to face
The Itinerary

Seven days.
One journey
inward.

📋 Tentative Itinerary

This itinerary is a living guide — it will evolve as we get closer to each retreat date. We believe the best experiences can't be fully scripted. Expect this to become more detailed and refined the closer we get to departure.

Day 1

Arrive. Breathe. Begin.

You land in Cali. A welcome circle, not a briefing. A dinner where the chef tells the story of every dish.

Cali
Day 2

The Cali Nobody Sees

Dawn at Galería Alameda. A walk through Aguablanca with a community leader. Salsa with a neighbourhood maestro — history in every step.

Cali
Day 3

The Road to the Pacific

The 2-hour drive is the experience. Arrival at a family-owned B&B on the coast. Mangrove walk with a native guide at dusk.

Buenaventura
Day 4

Cacao, Coffee, Earth & Fire

A cacao tour from tree to bar, and a coffee farm experience from bean to cup. Then a Marimba evening — UNESCO calls it intangible heritage. You will call it unforgettable.

Pacific · Coffee · UNESCO
Day 5

Give Back. In Person.

Cook with community women. Learn local crafts. Deliver the Impact Fund together — face to face, inside the community.

Community Impact
Day 6

Return & Integration

Back to Cali. A closing circle that is a ritual, not a review. Time to buy from makers who actually see the money.

Cali
Day 7

Departure. Transformed.

You leave with a post-trip integration kit — organisations to follow, books to read, and a guide to buying Colombian goods ethically from home.

Community Impact Fund

"Your stay should nourish the place —
not consume it."

Ten percent of your retreat price goes directly to a community project in the region we inhabit. Not a donation form. Not an NGO transfer. Delivered by you, in person, on Day 5 — to the people who will use it.

Per retreat: $3,999+ per traveller × 10% = real money in real hands.
Three retreats per year: $12,000–$18,000 annually — in real hands.
